One of my first subjects in DC was a man who worked in the rooftop garden at the northwest location of Bread for the City. He petitioned over a year ago to have a rooftop garden installed on the roof of his apartment building in Adams Morgan because he wanted to be able to share good food and help his neighbors eat healthy like BFTC helped him. This past spring, he was able to finally start a rooftop garden!
He was kind enough to share my story about him, and I wanted to return the favor so others can see the great work that he is doing for his neighborhood. Take a look at some pictures he’s taken of his new garden on Facebook or watch my story and read about Donald and Bread for the City.
