One of my first subjects in DC was a man who worked in the rooftop garden at the northwest location of Bread for the City. He petitioned over a year ago to have a rooftop garden installed on the roof of his apartment building in Adams Morgan because he wanted to be able to share good food and help his neighbors eat healthy like BFTC helped him. This past spring, he was able to finally start a rooftop garden!
